Ryan Gosling Saves British Woman's Life In New York City: Report

Posted: 04/ 4/2012 9:13 am Updated: 04/ 4/2012 9:17 am

Hey girl, I am going to save your life today.

Less than a year after Ryan Gosling was seen breaking up a fight in New York City, the "Drive" star has apparently played hero once again.

Yesterday, the actor saved British writer Laurie Penny from being hit by a car, this according to her Twitter account.

"I literally, LITERALLY just got saved from a car by Ryan Gosling. Literally. That actually just happened," Penny tweeted. "I was crossing 6th avenue in a new pink wig. Not looking the right way because I am from London. Ryan Gosling grabbed me away from a taxi."

According to the New York Observer, there is still no confirmation of whether this was really Gosling or not. (His publicists have not yet to respond to requests for comment.)

In 2011, Gosling was praised for his tough-guy role in the critically acclaimed "Drive." You can see the actor next in the upcoming the Los Angeles period piece, "The Gangster Squad" -- assuming he, you know, doesn't save your first.

ou may have started your adventure with George Lazenby, Sean Connery, or maybe a Bond more recent like Pierce Brosnan. But there was always a linear history that you could rely on. Any movie in the series that you started with was probably thrilling enough that you immediately rented the entire series, caught up in a single weekend, and then anxiously awaited the next Bond film.
Age ain't nothing but a number for these loved-up A-Listers. My BF and I both think so! He is almost 10 years older than I .We met via~~Cougarlove.C`0Μ~~ a nice place for younger women and oldermen, or older women and younger men, to interact with each other! ,Ever feel that you would best enjoy someone who is not in your age group? If u are really interested in it, maybe u wanna check it out or tell your friends.

It doesn't matter where you are from or what kind of traffic you are used to. You look BOTH ways before crossing the street, even if you have the right of way.

again, just because he is a celebrity and all the information hasnt been confirmed he gets a story featured on the news.

Goes to show you Gosling is an actor but he's a real decent guy, not full of himself like some of the other actors (male and female).

Not every story needs a political response.

No confirmation if it was Ryan or not but you are going to take a random person's Twitter message and make a story of it?

Welcome to the new media, no imagination and no desire to prove or disprove anything. They figure that most people are going to believe it as well because they really don't care about facts either.

If this were fabricated at the very least it is a "feel good" story instead of some person being wrongly accused of some terrible incident. I say if you are going to lie about me than this is the way too go about it instead of dragging my name through the mud.

Living in NYC, I've yanked people out of the way of vehicles dozens of times, as have many city residents. Let's not erect a monument to him quite yet.

I agree. Pumped up story about nothing.

However, it was worth reading just for the photo of Gosling and to be able to gaze into those big baby blues for a moment or two! Whew!
