'Batman' Pulled Over: Man Dressed As Dark Knight Stopped For Illegal Tags

Christian Bale may have driven around Gotham in a black Lamborghini during "The Dark Knight," but that was as Bruce Wayne, not Batman.

Nevertheless, that didn't stop one citizen in Silver Spring, Maryland from taking a spin in his sports car dressed as the masked crusader. Unfortunately, he ended up being pulled over by local police when cops noticed his license plate was just a bat emblem.

According to WTOP, the man was en route to visit sick children in the hospital, which was why he was wearing costume.

Thankfully, the officers decided to take some photographic evidence of the traffic stop. You can check out all of the photos over on the Montgomery County Police Department's Facebook page.

Hopefully, these types of frivolous events will not occur in "The Dark Knight Rises," which hits theaters on July 20.

What about all the promises Bush made and did not keep? And then the public reelected him to a second term, where it didn't get much better. Frankly our family has fared decently since Obama came in as President; so much more so than Bush ever did in 8 years. I say Obama 2012!

Bale was en route to visit sick children in a hospital, and that's why he was wearing the Batman costume. This is a case where the police should have escorted him to that hospital after he was pulled over (ticketed or not) if you ask me!

and you would be the first to complain if the cops did not stop the masked man driving a car with no plates on his way to to a robbery. you can't blame them for stopping him...it is not like they towed his car or issued a ticket once they found out what he was really doing.
