CATEGORIES Movie NewsWelcome to Moviefone's first ever Reddit Thread/Post of the Week, where we'll be highlighting the best Reddit.com has to offer in movie subject matter.
For those who don't know what Reddit is, it's a site where users can submit content -- links, videos, images, random pieces of information, questions -- that other users than comment and vote on. All the content is posted to Reddit on subpages, which basically serve as filters for different subjects (i.e. movies, politics, music, etc.).
Pretty simple, right?
To start things off, let's take a look at a few honorable mentions.
Reddit user Greenvanholzer posted a classic clip featuring a young Clint Eastwood guest starring as himself on a 1962 episode of "Mister Ed." At the time, Eastwood was best known for his role on the TV series "Rawhide." (Yes, this is pre-movie star Clint.) You can check out the video below. (He comes in at about the 5-minute mark.)
Next up, make sure to thank user ShaneMcIA for submitting this Dark Knight-meets-crustacean beach picture called,"Crab Is Secretly Batman." If you click on the link, you'll see that it's pretty self-explanatory.
Then there's a "Star Wars" GIF, courtesy of user Spiderpig19. The animation features the always popular Admiral Ackbar "It's a trap!" line from "Return of the Jedi," brilliantly matched up with an unlucky man stuck in a revolving door.
The last honorable mention comes from the hilariously bad ending to the film "Ninja Dragon." As user firsttimeintheforest states, "Apparently putting on eyeliner is part of ones [sic] ninja training." Ba-zing!
OK, onto the winner!
Despite stiff competition, this week's Best Reddit Thread comes from user Jav214 on the AskReddit page. The request: "Reddit, if you could describe your ex using a movie title what would it be?"
