In the narrative documentary category, "Brooklyn Castle" took home the audience award. That film -- which is already earmarked for a feature film adaptation from producer Scott Rudin -- focuses on a poor, inner-city school, which just so happens to have one of the best chess teams in the country.
The Paul Simon documentary, "Under African Skies," was also honored, winning the 24 Beats Per Second award.
