If the trailer for "Moonrise Kingdom," the first live-action film from director Wes Anderson since "The Darjeeling Limited" in 2007, didn't convince you that it will be another meticulously crafted feature you'll auto-add to your Blu-ray collection at some point in 2013, perhaps this brand new poster will do the trick.

Just released exclusively to Moviefone, the poster features illustrations of film's protagonists, Sam and Suzy (Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward), standing in the woods and poised for adventure. "Moonrise Kingdom" focuses on the two young lovers, who runaway together, much to the consternation of the adults in their lives (Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and Jason Schwartzman).

Co-written by Anderson and Roman Coppola, "Moonrise Kingdom" is out on May 25. Get excited. Right. Now.

More out of touch Hollyweerd liberalism. Just what we need, a movie that not only encourages our children to violate the Divine Law of Abst!nance Until Marriage, but also try to tell us we should all be out in the woods living in grass huts and eating tofu. LIberals would love to have us live that way becuase then we can all be as unsucessful as they are.

How about some clean, family entertainment that real America won't be afraid to see?

Maybe it's just me, but this poster looks like crahp to me. I like the painted theme, but the two main characters look like they were actual photos that had the "paintify" filter applied to them before they were carelessly copypasted into the scene. Is the boy leaning against the imaginary rock behind him, or is he just starting the process of falling backwards?

And I know Hollywood has a problem with vanity and whose name goes where. But if you're trying to sell a movie, don't put the production credits at the top.

The picture at the top of the article is more intriguing than the poster.
