Super Tuesday is upon us. Tonight, America gets a few steps closer to finding out who the GOP presidential nominee will be in November. That said, if you're looking to inject a little fun into the boring political hubbub, Moviefone is here to help. Introducing the current crop of GOP candidates -- Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich -- as comic book characters (featuring appearances from Iron Man, the Hulk and the Green Goblin). And to make sure this piece takes a non-partisan, unbiased stance (this is a movie site, after all), the list includes both superheroes and supervillains for each presidential hopeful.

Mitt Romney as Tony Stark/Iron Man
Tony Stark may be a little (ok, a lot) cockier than Romney, however, they do have several things in common: billionaire backgrounds, rugged good looks, powerful fathers and an interest in protecting the world. -
Mitt Romney as Lex Luthor
Critics have called Romney money-hungry and willing to do anything to gain power, which sounds exactly like "Superman" antagonist and evil genius Lex Luthor. -
Rick Santorum as Howard the Duck
In "Howard the Duck," our hero found himself in a place he never expected to be in: Cleveland, Ohio. During the 2012 GOP primary, Rick Santorum found himself in a place he never expected to be in: ahead in the polls. Nevertheless, like Howard, Rick has stepped up to the big challenge that lies ahead of him. (However, consider it unlikely that Santorum has been reading Howard's favorite magazine: Playduck) -
Rick Santorum as Green Goblin
Both have a creepy smile and have no shame in insulting those they disagree with. -
Ron Paul as Rorschach
Just like the "Watchmen" character, Ron Paul is consistent about his beliefs and wary of those in power. They also both gladly embrace their "underdog" roll. -
Ron Paul as Dr. Evil
When it comes to ideals, Ron Paul and Dr. Evil couldn't be anymore different: one wants the U.S. to stay out of other countries and mind their own business, the other is interested in taking over the world. However, what they do have in common are overarching, supervillain-esque eyebrows, as well as two sons looking to break away from their image. Also, critics of both call them senile. -
Newt Gingrich as Bruce Banner/The Hulk
Like the Hulk, Newt will get angry and aggressive against anyone who wants to challenge him (ahem, John King). Both are also veterans in their respective fields and always looking to outsmart and outwork their opponents. -
Newt Gingrich as Kingpin
If you could picture Newt Gingrich as any supervillain, wouldn't it be a crime boss who strikes fear into the hearts of his opponents and stops at nothing to get what he wants?
