The 84th annual Academy Awards weren't just marked by boredom, blackface and audio problems -- there were actually some laughs too.

Presenting the award for Best Original Song, Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis took the stage, each with a pair of cymbals, and proceeded to act like idiots.

It was funny! Or at least "funny" when you take into account the rest of the night. Watch the comics in the video above; they'll appear together in the political comedy "Dog Fight" out this August. And -- fingers crossed -- at the Oscars next year.
