'Tis the season to gear up for the Academy Awards. And what better way to look back on Oscar history than to relish in the most creepy and crazy moments from years past.

From Roberto Benenigni dancing on chairs to Anna Paquin’s deadpan silence, or Adrien Brody’s passionate unplanned kiss with Halle Berry to Jack Palance’s one-arm pushups, we can only hope that this years Oscar winners will do something equally exciting.

I looked at some pictures of that kiss just now (can't find a clip - only stills), and everybody calls it a "french kiss". Maybe it just looked that way because of her monsterous lips covering his face. All of that aside, who cares what she does? If you google her you can read all kinds of c*** about lesbian affairs and being bi and liking S&M - it all goes along with her wearing a vial of her boyfriend's blood around her neck back when, blah-blah. I think she was just trying to get attention and paint herself as wild and interesting. I guess it worked. She is now rich & famous. Personally, she will always be "fish lips" to me, I hate the way people treat her and Pitt like they are royalty and I find her boring. Even their acting is boring - always the same.

Anna Pacquin was just adorable in that clip, and she still is. The most memorable awards show moment for me was when Ving Rhames tried to give his Golden Globe to Jack Lemmon in 1998. If you haven't seen it check out the clip at YT. It's too funny. The guy meant well, but Lemmon was totally at a loss as to what to do, and many of the other actors were laughing at Rhames. Interesting - watch the clip - some of the women are in tears, "oh, so sweet" - and the men, Jack Nicholson and friends - are cracking up and yelling, "give it to me". So, depending on how you look at that moment, it was either incredibly funny or incredibly touching. My response when I saw it live on the air in '98 was - well, make your own decision.

I did not see anything CREEPY about any of this. Must have been a slow day indeed HP. If you have a brother or sister who thinks enough of you to wish you well....the world IN LOVE does not imply she wants to jump his bones.....it means.....I have a great brother who took the time.....that is truly love.....taking the time!

I thought the same thing. Trying to make something out of nothing. Was that the same night she gave her brother a kiss right on the mouth that raised eyebrows? Don't know if it was the same night, but it happened. I think close families just do that and it doesn't mean anything sexual either.

You thought that was creepy?! What was creepy about it? She was so cute! She was only 11 years old and was emotional and speechless. I thought it was cute and sweet and even a bit funny. I would bet that if she sees that clip now she probably laughs. Lighten up, dude.

I worked with a woman who admitted to "having a taboo relationship with her brother" and didn't have the common sense to understand why 100% child custody was given to her exhusband who found her in bed with her brother. DUH!
