Who needs a publicist when you can break your own news via Twitter? Last week, Russell Crowe took to his account to both confirm and deny a few movie rumors that have been recently floating around the Internet.

First up, the news that Darren Aronofsky is "eyeing" Crowe and Liam Neeson for roles in the upcoming Biblical epic, "Noah." According to Russell, he's "eyeing [Aronofsky] right back ... Liam's eyeing both of us ... and Paramount are eyeing us all, including you. Whole lot of eyeing."

In other Crowe casting news, Russell denied any involvement in the upcoming "RoboCop" reboot -- which just hired "Gran Torino" scribe Nick Schenk to write the script -- with a resounding, "No."

In conclusion, Noah's Ark > RoboCop. You can check out Crowe's tweets below.
