The Shiznit is at it again. Last year, they went viral with spot-on parodies of the 2011 Oscar race, and now they're doing it again, giving "The Artist," "The Descendants" and all the other supposed "best" movies of the year a good roasting with their hilariously blunt feature -- If the Oscar-Nominated Movie Posters Told the Truth.

The premise is simple: these parody posters deliver 100% truth in advertising. If Hollywood always operated under these principles, perhaps it could finally pull itself out of its box office slump.

I do like several of Leo DiCaprio's movies, not even sure why he was overlooked. I do like most of Brad Pitt movies and think he's a fine actor, really hoping he wins this year.

Leo DiCaprio is a remarkeable actor with incredible range. He deserves nominations for almost anything he's in. George Clooney is cute as hell but always plays pretty much the guy he is...that isn't acting. Black and white movies from the early part of the 20th centruy do not mean 'Art' just because they are remade in black and white, sometimes they are just dumb movies in black and white and I have no idea what the movie poster with all the photo boxes in it was supposed to represent so I'm guessing it didn't really portray any 'truth.' IT'S ENTERTAINMENT. It's 'truth' is whatever they say it is. I wish political ads told the truth. that would make more sense.

I'm not sure how Oscars are given out but rarely for talent. There are certain people in Hollywood who play themselves (or the personna they want to project) in every movie they do, i.e., Harrison Ford, Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt, Sly Stallone, George Clooney and Arnie. Some of them actually get nominated or their movies do and I cannot understand it. Something must be going on behind the scenes to get them where they are. Leo diCaprio deserved the Oscar for several years now as he has made some fantastic movies and can actually act.

the academy is so bias. they single out someone every couple of decades. barbra streisand, al pacino, and now leo. leo can act circles around pitt, clooney, and most of the nominees. this award is about acting, and only acting. come on academy get your ACT together, and stop with the jealous pettiness.
