The found-footage horror film is not your usual found footage flick: it's split into segments directed by respected indie filmmakers Ti West, Adam Wingard, Joe Swanberg, David Bruckner, Glenn McQuaid, and group Radio Silence. While details are scant at the moment, Movieline reported that "V/H/S" focuses on a group of ne'er-do-wells who "are promised a big payday to break into a house and steal a VHS tape, but once they get there they find an empty house, a body, and a stack of bizarre tapes to sift through." Those tapes make up the film.
"V/H/S" has gotten some raves during its Sundance midnight screenings, but it was too much for viewers on early Wednesday morning. The man who fainted apparently passed out during a gruesome scene involving a broken wrist.
The unidentified man was OK after medical attention and returned to the screening to meet the filmmakers.
