So did anyone here actually SEE the tree of life? It's the best cinematography in the history of film and a lock for the oscar... But its polling behind Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and War Horse lol.

Hugo is a Masterpiece of cinematography... FINALLY the use of 3D as it was intended..... to enrich the story telling .... and the visceral film experience. Sound, screenplay, ....movie of the year and one your children will relish at first site for decades to come.
Unlike tripe like 'the Help'. What a waste of a movie ticket that was.

The Help should win in every category it is nominated for.

And HP should win for best make up. Lets face it, Voldemort is one ugly dude.

How many who actually post & vote for this survey actually saw the films
that have been nominated? My guess is less than 35% based on the
theatre sales and available DVD's sold or streamed since their release
dates. It's always interesting to see people vote on what something they
really have no first hand knowledge of --- Reminds me of our elections.
Come on people, vote in 2012 and use your own brains to decide who
you want to represent you locally, statewide & nationally. It is too serious
to just "guess" or follow a pattern of subservience. (Rant now over, thank
you!)

How could they snub Leonardo DiCaprio again? hey just love George Clooney unconditionally. So surprised Brad Pitt has finally been recognized as a great actor. Congrats to Jonah Hill. He's wonderful.
