Oscar season has finally arrived! On Tuesday morning, the nominees for the 84th Academy Awards were announced and making the list were Meryl Streep, Viola Davis, Brad Pitt and George Clooney. Unfortunately, Uggie the dog was passed over, but his film, "The Artist," earned a Best Picture nomination as well as nine others.

The 2012 Academy Awards air on ABC on Sunday, Feb. 26, with host Billy Crystal.

For the Love of ....Someone please help Meryl Streep pick out a better dress for the Oscars. She dresses like she's going to clean the house! Pulls her hair back in a pony tail and throws on a 50's Dale Evans house dress... And how she manages to escape Joan Rivers is beyond me.... Don't get me wrong I love Meryl..she's one of the best... right up there with Judy Dench...BUT please Meryl get some one to fix your hair and help pick something worthy of an awards show.
