'Jeff, Who Lives At Home' Trailer: Jason Segel Sleeps In His Mom's Basement

Jason Segel playing a slacker isn't exactly surprising; after all, he is part of the Judd Apatow clan. But before you roll your eyes at his latest endeavor, where he plays a man who lives in his mother's basement, give "Jeff, Who Lives At Home" a chance to explain itself.

Starring Segel as Jeff, a lazy, jobless adult who still lives at home, the film follows the character as he crosses paths with his brother Pat (Ed Helms), a semi-successful man struggling with a failed marriage. Together, the two try to help each other and make it through their respective life crises.

OK, on second thought, that synopsis does sound rather Apatow-ian. For actual proof, just watch the first trailer of the movie to see what "Jeff" is all about.

"Jeff, Who Lives At Home," which stars Segel, Helms, and Susan Sarandon, was directed by the Duplass brothers, the guys behind "Cyrus" -- another film that allowed an Apatow alum (Jonah Hill) to break out of his shell. It's set to hit theaters on March 16.

I loved this little gem of a movie; it's well-written, directed, acted and intelligent, clever, funny, meaningful and it's NOT sexist, stupid, and misogynistic:)
