Kristen Wiig In Talks to Star With Ben Stiller in 'Secret Life of Walter Mitty'

Because the Internet is contractually obligated to give you news about Kristen Wiig every 12 hours, here comes this bit of potential Wiig casting. She's in talks to star opposite Ben Stiller in the movie-purgatory-dwelling "Secret Life of Walter Mitty."

The fantasy comedy (comtasy?) is a remake of the 1947 Danny Kaye film, which is based on the James Thurber short story. Here, Stiller plays a meek magazine photo manager who goes on a wild goose chase for a missing negative, satiating his desire for adventure and excitement. In addition to starring, Stiller will also direct.

For Wiig, this (possibly) concludes a hella-busy week. The actress was at the Golden Globes on Sunday night, put the kibosh on a "Bridesmaids" sequel, again (or she just knows how to play hard ball) and is teaming up with De Niro and Penn for "The Comedian."

I wish that I could get a role in the "Sadako" Motion Picture that Evolving Pictures is producing. The Sadako Sasaki story is being taught in middle grade schools all over the world.
