CATEGORIES Movie NewsBy this point, you have probably heard of Michael Fassbender. Besides being penis-joke fodder for George Clooney, the actor propelled into the spotlight in 2011 with roles in "A Dangerous Method," "X-Men: First Class," and the NC-17-rated "Shame" -- the source of the aforementioned penis joke.
Like many actors, though, Fassbender has a different side to him; one away from the cameras, unknown to fans and standard celeb gawkers. For example, did you know Michael likes to break out in song while he's on set? According to The Hollywood Reporter, "One of [Fassbender's] favorites ... is 'Regulate,' by Warren G and Nate Dogg."
The actor even has a comedic side: Before starring in big feature films, Fassbender took a series of jobs, included one where he called people who had filed complaints about the Royal Mail. While working there, he made sure to get in a few cracks, a la the "meow" gag in the movie "Super Troopers."
"We would do various things to keep our brains from freezing, like try to stick 'Mary Poppins' or another phrase into the conversation," admitted the "Shame" star.
As for that full-frontal nudity scene in "Shame," Fassbender had the awkward pleasure of seeing the finished product with his father. However, as THR states, Michael's dad was "very proud" when that particular moment happened on screen.

Michael Fassbender's next movie is Steven Soderbergh's "Haywire," in theaters this Friday.
