What an irreverent and crazy night -- and that was just at Moviefone HQ! (SFX: Rimshot.) The 69th annual Golden Globes provided plenty of laughs, cringes and all-around headscratchers. Not a fan of Madonna, because she has been known to steal songs.

If the song is truly original and if she wrote it, fine.

But with the many lawsuits, settlements she paid due to copy write infringement, it makes me really wonder.

If a student was accused of plagiarism and caught doing such, other work they submit might be scrutinized.

Why shouldn't her so called work be, since she had not just one or two, but dozens of lawsuits.

I would post a link here, but not sure if I would or wouldn't get in trouble for that.

But she has stolen her so called iconic style's from of course Marilyn Monroe and no I don't mean just the pink dress thing she did, but also a few other styles that Marilyn had done.

Madonna was slammed by rap fans for ripping off, "Public Enemy's 'Security of The 1st World' in her song 'Justify my Love' without paying for it.
This is the same song she stole the lyrics from Ingrid Chavez, getting rid of Ingrid's name from the writer's credit and replacing it with her own.

She also stole the riff for Beautiful Stranger from Da Capo.

Copyright infringement means song sampling usually. You say stealing songs as if she just steals the entire song without giving proper credit, no..usually it was just a song sample. And honestly NOTHING is 100% original. Everyone borrows from something or someone, even those in indie bands who like to pretend they are above pop music. To say Madonna isn't original and you are not for that reason alone is a bit silly, no one is 100% original. Madonna has said countless times that Marilyn Monroe has inspired her and she used her image as tribute to her.

Nothing is 100% original...true , but her Justify my love is 100% stolen. The lyrics by Ingred Chavez put to the beat of Public Enemy. how is that original, she put her name as for writing it, and it was proven she didn't.

I agree many borrow parts, but she tries to lay claim to the songs until she found red handed.

All in all, everybody looked fabulous *with the exception of that 6'5" David Bowie chic ( no idea of her name). Kelly O. is looking great and so is her mother. Theron is sooo stunning. I love em all. A true night of glamour.. such fun to watch. And I am particularly happy Kate Winslet won for Mildred Pierce. She is just the sexiest thing around .... and even the guys pulled it off, sans any hip hop garbage. An elegant evening, A pleasure to watch. (On another note: American Idol starts tonight). Anybody know when the Apprentice begins>

oh, come on chuckie..apprentice is a great show! and american idol is just idle entertainment. there's so little on tv nowadays that you've got a choice between bacherlot and glee,, yuk to most of these shows.
