Chloe Moretz, People's Choice Award Winner: Is She the Next Big Thing? (PHOTOS)
When Moviefone asked Chloe Moretz about her chances at winning the People's Choice Award for Favorite Movie Star Under 25, the actress was fairly blunt. "It's like Tom Felton, Daniel Radcliffe. It's Harry Potter against me," she said, leaving out other "Potter" nominees Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. "I'm pretty sure I'm gonna lose to "Harry Potter," but that's OK. I don't mind. At least I got nominated."
About that: in what amounts to a fairly big surprise, fans voted Moretz as their favorite young star at the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
"Oh my God, I can't even imagine that I'm in the same category as the whole 'Harry Potter' cast, and I won!" Moretz said during her adorable acceptance speech. "That's weird."

Between this win, plus her high-profile acting work in films like "Hugo" and the upcoming Tim Burton blockbuster "Dark Shadows" with Johnny Depp, Moretz is likely to be up for this People's Choice Award for years to come -- literally. She turns just 15 on Feb. 10, meaning she'll be under 25 for another ten People's Choice Awards ceremonies. Does this mean she's the biggest young star in Hollywood at the moment? Maybe!
