Psycho Violinist

Violinist Israel Baker, who helped score films such as "Psycho" and "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom," died on Christmas Day at the age of 92.

As the Los Angeles Times points out, Baker was best known for his work in the famous shower scene from Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho." The musician was the lead violinists on the legendary score, that's been ranked alongside 'Jaws' as one of the most frightening pieces of music in film history.

In addition to his work in film, Baker was also an accomplished concertmaster. He passed away several days after having a stroke. You can read his full obituary over at the Los Angeles Times.
