As expected, the biopic on the infamous porn star Linda Lovelace is going to include many shots of a nude Amanda Seyfried, who's playing the titular lead. "It's going to be very risqué," "Lovelace" producer Patrick Muldoon told E! Online.
From "HOWL" directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, the film peers into the world of the "Deep Throat" actress, centering around her relationship with her abusive pornographer husband, Chuck Traynor (played by Peter Sarsgaard).
Muldoon went on to explain that the revealing shots aren't the film's only selling point.
"It's a new thing for [Seyfried], but it's not about nudity," he said. "It's profound, the performance that she's giving...She's doing such an amazing job."
He also underlined an important point: "Yes, there's a lot of nudity, but it's a message movie about respecting women."
"Lovelace" hits theaters sometime this year.
