Actor Jermaine Hopkins, best known for his role as Thomas Sams in the 1989 film 'Lean On Me,' was arrested this week on drug charges. According to TMZ, Hopkins allegedly tried to buy 200 pounds of weed from an undercover police officer in Arizona. After the drug deal went down, cops arrested the actor, then searched his apartment, where an additional 100 pounds of pot was found. He is now charged with two felony counts of possessing, transporting and trying to sell marijuana, and faces up to five years in prison.

In addition to 'Lean on Me,' Hopkins starred alongside Tupac Shakur in 'Juice' His most recent role was in the 2008 straight-to-DVD movie, 'Cash Rules.'
