Some film noms could trip up the Oscar race -- or cement favorites on their trip to the Kodak Theater in February. Will 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close' be Nominated for Best Picture Drama at the Globes?

Right now, some Oscarologists believe that 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close' is one of the films that can beat 'The Artist' for Best Picture at the Oscars. However, it wasn't -- strangely -- included in the list of Top 10 Films of 2011 just released by the American Film Institute. If it fails to make the Globes list, too, that could hurt 'Extremely Loud's' Oscar hopes, although not dash them completely. Past Oscar champ 'Crash' was snubbed in the top Globes race and AFI failed to list 'The Departed.'
