Reason infinity why it's great when celebrities join Twitter. M. Night Shyamalan, the man behind 'The Sixth Sense,' 'Signs' and -- unfortunately for him -- 'The Happening' and 'The Last Airbender,' has recently signed up for the social networking site, and in a tweet late Wednesday night he revealed what Hollywood superstar Will Smith has taken to calling him. Responding to a fan wondering what friends call Shyamalan, the director wrote, "Most family calls me 'Manoj.' All my friends and everyone else calls me 'Night.' A few peeps call me 'M.' Will Smith calls me 'M. Neezie.'" And there's your icebreaker, should you ever run into Shyamalan on the street!
The director and Smith will soon begin filming a new post-apocalyptic science-fiction movie together called '1000 A.E.' (which Shyamalan has referred to as 'After Earth'), that focuses on a son (Smith spawn Jaden Smith) trying to save his father's life (the elder Smith) after their spaceship crash lands on what used to be Earth.
Shyamalan's account is verified by the Twitter gods, so you can safely assume that it is probably him doing the tweeting. Or maybe not! Who knows with Twitter these days.
