CATEGORIES Movie News, Awards

That sound you just heard was Oscar prognosticators waking up to the very-real possibility of 'Hugo' playing a major part in the awards race. The cinematic love-letter won top honors from the National Board of Review on Thursday, with Martin Scorsese earning the Best Director trophy. Other winners include George Clooney, Tilda Swinton, Christopher Plummer and Shailene Woodley.
