According to TMZ, a crew member has died on the New Orleans set of the upcoming sequel, 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation.' Sources from inside the production say crew member Mike Huber was working on a high-powered lift when it tipped over, killing him. In a statement from Paramount Pictures, the studio said that "Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the [crew member's] family at this time. The safety of our cast and crew is our top priority and the studio is fully cooperating with all investigating agencies as they examine the circumstances surrounding this unusual accident."
'Retaliation' is a sequel to 2009's 'G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra.' The new film stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Bruce Willis and the RZA. Channing Tatum will reprise his role as Duke. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on June 29, 2012.
