Future Man of Steel Henry Cavill is making the press rounds for 'Immortals,' and on Monday night, the 'Man of Steel' star stopped by 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' for a chat. The topic? Superman's iconic red outer underwear, which has apparently been ditched for the Zack Snyder-directed reimagining. "Why wear underpants when you can be far more revealing?" Cavill joked in his charming British accent. Too bad he can't use his native voice to play Supes. He would sound so charming! Anyway, no underwear. Noted. [THR/Heat Vision]

When Lindsay Lohan isn't spending four hours in jail, she's posing for Playboy in a pictorial that recalls Marilyn Monroe. Because New York Magazine (link NSFW) didn't do that in 2008. Expect the Lohan issue to be on newsstands in December. [The Insider]

Clive Owen is set to star in 'Recall,' a generic-sounding actioner made less generic by the fact that it was written by Paul Schrader ('Taxi Driver,' 'Raging Bull'). [Variety]

Think of it as 'The Da Vinci Code: The Younger Years.' Universal has picked up the spec script 'Leonardo' by Jonny Kurzman, about the young Leonardo Da Vinci trying to stop the return of The Dark Ages. It's an action-adventure film, if you couldn't tell. [Variety]

'Skyfall' has added two new actors: Ola Rapace and Helen McCrory, the latter of whom you know best from 'Harry Potter' as Narcissa Malfoy; she's also in 'Hugo.' Rapace is the estranged husband of Noomi Rapace (the original 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo'). [@007]

'Bridemaids' scene-stealer Wendi McLendon-Covey has found a new role: she'll star in the indie comedy 'A White Trash Christmas,' which is a parody of 'A Christmas Carol.' Girl is funny! Can't we get her better material? [Variety]
