What's Next: After the box-office success of 'Super 8,' Courtney booked two roles: he'll play a disgruntled teen in the supernatural thriller 'The Healer,' and take on the iconic role of Tom Sawyer in 'Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn' with fellow up-and-comer Jake T. Austin playing Huck. Both movies are scheduled to hit next year.

Elizabeth Olsen

What She's Done: The younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Elizabeth made her acting debut in one of her sisters's early videos. Following graduation from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Olsen took to acting in a major way, landing roles in three festival favorites, including 'Martha Marcy May Marlene.' That film, which stars Olsen as a refugee from a cult, earned rave reviews at Sundance and has put the young starlet in the thick of the Oscar race. She also co-stars in 'Peace, Love and Misunderstanding' with Jane Fonda and the horror thriller 'Silent House,' both due out this year.
What's Next: Being one of 2011's It-Girls, Olsen has a plethora of projects lined up. She's set to star opposite Robert De Niro in 'Red Lights,' plays the female lead in 'Liberal Arts' ('How I Met Your Mother' star Josh Radnor's directorial follow-up to 'happythankyoumoreplease') and is attached to co-star with Dakota Fanning in 'Very Good Girls,' about two high schoolers looking to lose their virginity.

Vanessa Hudgens

What She's Done: Probably best-known for her role as Gabriella in 'High School Musical,' Hudgens - who turns 23 on Dec. 14 -- has tried to break out of the high-school box with starring roles in 'Beastly' and 'Sucker Punch.'
What's Next: Hudgens will certainly shatter that good-girl image in 'Gimme Shelter,' where she plays a hardly-recognizable pregnant teenager who refuses to get an abortion. You can also check her out in 'The Frozen Ground,' where once again she's going against type as a girl who escapes the clutches of a serial killer and brings him to justice.
Did You Know? She intended to audition for 'American Idol' at one point before her career took off.

Emma Stone
Age: 22
What She's Done: And you thought Ryan Gosling has had a good 2011! Stone appeared in 'Crazy, Stupid, Love,' 'Friends With Benefits' and 'The Help' over the summer, earning early Oscar buzz for the last. She'd previously starred as wise-beyond-her-years Olive in 'Easy A' and as Jonah Hill's future put-upon girlfriend in 'Superbad.'
What's Next: Continuing an Oscar push for 'The Help,' and then a little something called 'The Amazing Spider-Man' next July -- she'll play Gwen Stacy opposite Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker in the franchise reboot from '(500) Days of Summer' director Marc Webb. Stone also re-teams with her 'Crazy, Stupid, Love' co-star Ryan Gosling for the star-studded 'Gangster Squad,' which hits theaters in the fall of 2012.

Julianne Hough
Age: 23
What She's Done: Already famous for twice winning 'Dancing With the Stars' and releasing a self-titled album which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Music charts, Hough has made acting her next hill to conquer. That started with a small role in the Christina Aguilera film 'Burlesque' last year, and continued with Hough playing the female lead in 'Footloose.'
What's Next: Hough joins an all-star cast in the film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical 'Rock of Ages.' As Sherrie, she gets to share a musical number with none other than Tom Cruise.
Did You Know? Hough appeared in 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' as an extra; she's credited as "Hogwarts schoolgirl."

Zac Efron
Age: 24
What He's Done: Skyrocketed to fame as Troy in 'High School Musical'; also sang and danced through 'Hairspray'; starred in the somber 'Charlie St. Cloud.'
What's Next: There will be no shortage of Efron action in 2012. The heartthrob has six projects coming up, including 'The Lucky One,' in which he plays a buzz-cut Marine. He'll also be making an appearance in the star-studded 'New Year's Eve' alongside Ashton Kutcher and Robert De Niro. There's also the drama 'Liberal Arts,' which co-stars fellow Under-25er Elizabeth Olsen as his love interest.

Tom Felton
Age: 24
What He's Done: The just-24 Felton shot to fame after playing the villainous Draco Malfoy in the 'Harry Potter' franchise, but it wasn't his first film. Felton appeared in 'The Borrowers' with John Goodman and 'Potter' co-star Jim Broadbent in 1997, and also appeared in 'Anna and the King' with Jodie Foster. In addition to 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2,' Felton also played a bad guy in this summer's smash hit, 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes.'
What's Next: Felton appears opposite 'Twilight' star Ashley Greene in 'The Apparition' and is attached to the World War II drama 'Grace and Danger.'
