Ellen Page has apparently decided that the best way to return to her indie roots is to head 'East.' (H/T to every other movie website on the Internet for that non-imaginative pun.) The 'Juno' star is in final discussions to co-star in 'The East' according to Jeff Sneider at Variety. The film -- written by Sundance darling Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij, and directed by Batmanglij -- tells the story of "a private contracting firm tasked with protecting big corporations from radical environmentalists and anti-business extremists." Marling plays a secret agent, with Page potentially playing the role of a member in the group she infiltrates. Alexander Skarsgard co-stars. Marling and Batmanglij previously teamed up for 'The Sound of My Voice,' which is due out later this year. [Variety]
