With roles in 'Crazy, Stupid, Love,' 'The Lincoln Lawyer,' 'Salvation Boulevard' and George Clooney's upcoming political thriller 'The Ides of March,' Marisa Tomei is having a pretty great 2011. Now, Variety
reports that she'll likely continue that streak into 2012. The Oscar-winning actress has just signed on to star in 'Us and Them,'
the Billy Crystal-Bette Midler comedy directed by Andy Fickman and written by 'City Slickers' scribes Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel.
'Us and Them' stars Crystal and Midler as grandparents who have to learn to deal with their three grandkids' modern ways when they're forced to take care of them in their daughter's absence. Tomei will play the errant daughter.
Bailee Madison ('Don't Be Afraid of the Dark') will co-star as one of the three grandchildren.
Production will begin at the end of this month in Atlanta.
