With 'Friends with Benefits' hitting theaters today and Comic-Con fever running wild, we now have our first look at Justin Timberlake's next starring role in 'In Time' thanks to the fine folks at IGN and /Film. Up until this morning, this movie wasn't even on our radar, but as much as that tagline on the one-sheet can't make us stop thinking about 50 Cent, this could definitely be a big win for sci-fi fans.

From what we've gathered, 'In Time' takes place in an alternate future where time has become the new form of currency thanks to a new law/genetic mutation that makes everyone stop aging when they turn 25, giving them one year to live before they kick the bucket unless they refill their biological clock by various means. With his time running low and everyone around him clocking out, Will Salas (Timberlake) saves a guy's life, gets a Century's worth of time added to his clock in return, and quickly finds himself being hunted down by the Time Police for "time infringement" or something like that.

Sure sounds a lot like 'Logan's Run,' but that's alright by us as long as it's done well.

Set for an October 28 release date, written and directed by Andrew Niccol ('Gattaca'), and starring Amanda Seyfried, Olivia Wilde, Cillian Murphy, and Alex Pettyfer, hit the jump to see the posters and trailer for yourselves.

Looking pretty slick so far, and if this ends up being anywhere near as good as Niccol's criminally under-appreciated 'Gattaca,' then we will be a very happy bunch.

So what do you guys think of 'In Time' so far?
