As if the cast and crew of 'G.I. Joe 2' wasn't eclectic enough, THR is reporting that Wu-Tang Clan member RZA is in negotiations to join the action flick. He would play a martial arts specialist (no surprise there) named the Blind Master, who in the past trained Joe commandos Snake-Eyes and Jinx.

Although RZA is best known as a rapper/producer, he is no stranger to the big screen, having starred in movies such as 'Repo Men,' 'Funny People' and 'American Gangster.' Considering his (and Wu-Tang's) love for martial arts, this 'G.I. Joe' role seems right up his alley.

Hit the jump to see what else we know about the sequel. RZA will be joining a cast that includes Channing Tatum, who will reprise his role as Duke, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Elodie Yung (who is also starring in David Fincher's 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo') and D.J. Cotrona.

We are still unsure about the selection of Jon Chu as director. His credits include the Justin Bieber documentary along with 'Step Up 3D' and 'Step Up 2: The Streets.' Not exactly the resume you'd want for someone heading up an action film.

What do you think of RZA being cast in 'G.I. Joe 2'?
