After generally establishing itself as the comic book disappointment of the Summer and as it still struggles to break even on its insano $200M budget, it looks like Warner Bros. is brushing that dirt off their shoulders and giving the green light to a 'Green Lantern' sequel anyway. If 'Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer' and 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' were any indication, making a sequel might not be the best idea to restore this franchise's good name, but despite a crushing box-office drop of 66% after its second week in theaters, a follow-up is nevertheless coming and it's only uphill from here. Such is the selling power of Ryan Reynolds.

No word yet on a release date or who's involved, but we think it's pretty safe to assume that Mark Strong will be returning as Sinestro and he'll be pissing Hal Jordan right off. But we're just hoping Peter Saarsgard gets to come back somehow.

So are you looking forward to another 'Green Lantern' movie, or was one more than enough?
