We're still a ways away until the 'Immortals' release date on November 11, 2011, but from what we've seen so far, it's either trying really freakin' hard or not trying at all to differentiate itself from '300.' From what we've seen in the trailer, the only things that seem to be setting this apart is that it's got Greek gods in it and it's directed by Tarsem Singh who gave us two visually stunning efforts in the form of 'The Cell' and 'The Fall.' But other than that, we're pretty surprised that the tag line on these four new character posters isn't "Tonight we dine in Hell!"

Not to say that it doesn't have some style going for it, just wish we had more reason to get excited over this than to see what Henry Cavill can do before he takes on the Superman mantle and to laugh at whatever it is Mickey Rourke's got on his head.

Hit the jump to see the posters of Rourke as the villainous Titan Hyperion, Freida Pinto as a priestess named Phaedra, Stephen Dorff as a slave, and Cavill as our hero Theseus.

Seriously, what the hell is Mickey Rourke wearing?

So what do you think: sticking to '300,' or looks pretty cool?
