Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho, it's a Snow White casting we will go.

Fast on the heels of Monday's announcement that Ian McShane was cast as the dwarf leader in Universal's 'Snow White and the Huntsman' action adventure movie comes word that Eddie Izzard, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan and Steven Graham are in negotiations to play dwarfs in the film.

The Rupert Sanders-directed film takes a revisionist look at the fairy tale by having Snow White (Kristen Stewart) escape the clutches of her evil stepmother (Charlize Theron) with the help of the huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) who was supposed to kill her but now trains her to survive and fight back.

The high-profile film is veering away from the traditional dwarf names (no Sneezy, Sleepy, Dopey or Bashful here): McShane's dwarf name will be Caesar, Jones plays a timid dwarf named Claudius, Izzard will be Tiberius, and Hoskins will play Constantine, a blind dwarf, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
