He's set to take over both the 'Bourne' and the 'Mission: Impossible' franchises and might star in a Steve McQueen biopic. That's in addition to 'The Avengers' (which he's currently filming), 'Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters' and possible roles in the drama 'Low Life,' 'Ice Age: Continental Drift' and 'You're Not You,' with Hilary Swank.
Now the twice-Oscar-nominated actor has signed a deal to star in and produce the racing film 'Slingshot.' It's the true story of underdog rally racer Bill Caswell, who placed third in the Mexico round of the World Rally Championship with a 20-year-old $500 BMW that he found on Craigslist.
Back in April, Renner was offered the lead role in 'The Bourne Legacy,' prompting CinemaBlend's Katey Rich to write an editorial pleading with Hollywood not to overexpose the previously below-the-radar actor.
(There's also a possible glut of car-themed flicks headed to the box office, including one about the rivalry between racer Carroll Shelby and Enzo Ferrari.)
Do you agree that Renner is running the risk overexposure with all these film projects?
