'Social Network''s Jesse Eisenberg and 'Source Code' star Jake Gyllenhaal are in negotiations to play illusionists who pull off daring bank heists during their performances, and then share the profits with their audiences.
Originally, Summit Entertainment was looking at much older actors, including Colin Firth, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jim Carrey and Hugh Grant, but decided to cast younger.
Director Louis Leterrier ('Clash of the Titans') will take the helm (presumably, this movie won't be in 3D) and 'Inglourious Basterds' actress Mélanie Laurent has been offered the female lead.
Boaz Yakin ('Prince of Persia,' 'Remember the Titans' and Edward Ricourt wrote the script.
Eisenberg will next be seenin the comedy '30 Minutes or Less,' and will spend the summer filming Woody Allen's 'Bop Decameron.' Gyllenhaal's next, David O'Russell's 'Nailed,' is in post-production and he's currently set to star in the cop drama 'End of Watch.'
