Jim Carrey says he'd like to return to two of his biggest hits with possible sequels to 'Bruce Almighty' and 'Dumb and Dumber.'

While out promoting his new film, 'Mr. Popper's Penguins,' Carrey teased his next projects: "We're talking about maybe returning to some old characters that everyone has been asking about. There's 'Bruce Almighty' and we're talking about maybe another 'Dumb & Dumber.'"

'Dumb & Dumber' was one of Carrey's earliest hits; the 1994 Farrelly Brothers comedy, co-starring Jeff Daniels, made $127 million in domestic box office and $247 overseas. 'Bruce Almighty' (2003) nearly doubled that, with $242 million domestic and $485 million international.

Previous spin-offs to both comedies -- 'Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd' and 'Evan Almighty' -- happened without Carrey's involvement.

What do you think: Is it a great idea or serious mistake for Carrey to step back into the shoes of Lloyd Christmas and the temporarily divine Bruce? Or would you rather see more, say, Ace Ventura?
