Gary Shore, a contender to take the director's chair for 'The Wolverine,' has already separated himself from the rest of the pack with a sample of what he'll do if handed the franchise.
Even before he was mentioned for the gig, Shore created a trailer for what he calls 'Wolverine vs. The Hand,' using still images of the mighty mutant facing off with samurai and ninjas. He posted it three months ago to his Vimeo page. That same strategy worked for him before, when his trailer for his proposed first feature 'The Cup of Tears,' got him a deal with Working Title Films and Universal to complete the film.
