"The evidence did not support charging Cage with a crime," the New Orleans District Attorney told TMZ. Additionally, the actor's wife reportedly declined to press charges and denied any physical contact.
Cage taunted the police before they took him into custody in the early hours of April 16. He repeatedly refused their requests to go home, asking, "Why don't you just arrest me?" The officers eventually obliged, and Cage was arrested for disturbing the peace and domestic violence. He spent several hours in jail before Dog the Bounty Hunter posted his $11,000 bond. (Really.)
Cage was in the Big Easy filming 'Con Air' director Simon West's 'Medallion,' co-starring Malin Akerman.
The actor has a history of public outbursts, including a caught-on-tape meltdown last year on the Romanian set of the forthcoming 'Ghost Rider' sequel and a bar fight in New Orleans in March.
