"I'm sincerely flattered that the folks from the Mostly Teenage Viewers network have invited me to host this year, and I look forward to keeping the streak of flawless and critically lauded movie-award-show hosting in 2011 alive," Sudeikis joked. He is, of course, making light of the critical pounding Oscar hosts James Franco and Anne Hathaway received after this year's lethargic telecast and the backlash against Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais after he made several rough jokes at the expense of actors like Robert Downey Jr. and Angelina Jolie (both of whom were in the audience).
You can vote in all of your favorite categories -- from Best Kiss and Best Scared-As-Sh*t Performance to Best Villain and Best Jaw Dropping Moment -- at the MTV Movie Awards site beginning May 3. Voting ends on June 4, the day before the Awards.

"He is a smartass and a gentleman who never goes for the easy or obvious joke. Because of that, he is the ideal MTV Movie Awards host, and we are confident with him anchoring the show, our audience is in store for unexpected and crazy moments with Hollywood's biggest stars and musicians."
The MTV Movie Awards air live from Los Angeles on Sunday, June 5 at 9 PM.
