Sites like Flickr, Tumblr and DeviantArt, among others, bombard us with a ceaseless supply of artwork by professionals and fans that is variously excellent, clever, funny, innovative and numerous degrees of awesome.

This week we spotlight the excellent work of Phantom City Creative, a Toronto-based studio trading in eye-catching and clever graphic design, illustration and other promotional materials for film, television and web. Many of the pieces we love were created for Toronto's TIFF Bell Lightbox cinema as part of a back-to-the-'80s series of screenings, including posters for such films as 'The Last Starfighter,' 'Gremlins' and 'The Goonies.'
For much more from Phantom City Creative, be sure to visit the company's official website.
