They don't make wolves like they used to.

In 1985, Michael J. Fox starred as a lovable teen wolf basketball star in the aptly-titled 'Teen Wolf.' Instead of his hairy transformation being a dark, embarrassing secret, becoming a wolf actually made Scott Howard really, really popular.

Now MTV has a brand-new TV remake of the beloved '80s film, and one big glaring difference is that Scott McCall, the protagonist, struggles intensely with his dark, twisted transformation. And of course, he does so while sporting a gleaming rack of abs -- because in these 'Twilight' days, even nerds have abs.

MTV's 'Teen Wolf'

That's not all that MTV has changed. They've switched out basketball in favor of lacrosse, and Scott's need to control his anger is now TV Scott's need to control his libido.

It seems a lot more 'Twilight' than Marty McFly.

Don't expect this 'Teen Wolf' to be dunking on the court anytime soon.
