Update: The full trailer is now online, click below to check it out!

Been fiending for more footage of 'Captain America: The First Avenger'? Tired of rewatching the Super Bowl teaser over and over? Then we've got you covered. As every Marvel Comics true believer knows, a new trailer for the highly anticipated film is set to make its debut in theaters nationwide starting on Friday. If you can't wait until then, or until it turns up online tomorrow, read on for some good news.

Entertainment Tonight gave viewers a sneak peek at the newest clip from the film, and if you happened to miss it, you'll find it in all its red, white and blue butt-kicking glory after the jump.

Ignore the 'E.T.' commentator talking over the trailer; he's basically just regaling the uninformed with plot details about the movie. Basically, Chris Evans plays a wannabe soldier rejected from serving his country because he's too small. He then volunteers for a secret experiment that turns him into a hulking mass of American muscle. Equipped with a bullet-deflecting shield, Steve Rogers becomes Captain America. OK, now there's no need to be distracted by the voice-over.

The new clip reuses a lot of footage from the Super Bowl ad, including a "blink and you'll miss it" appearance of Hugo Weaving's villainous Red Skull. Still, there are some tantalizing new tidbits in the spot, and we're sure our fellow comic geeks will spend hours poring over it to decipher what it all means. Keep in mind that this is just the appetizer before the main course of the full-length trailer due later this week.

All we can say at this point is that it's hard to get a feel for 'The First Avenger' based on the two short clips we've seen. We're hoping this is more 'Iron Man' than 'The Incredible Hulk,' but until we see more we can only feel cautiously optimistic about this title. What do you guys think? Are you all in with 'Captain America: The First Avenger,' or are you waiting to see more before declaring it the must see superhero film of the summer?
