• The IMP Awards have premiered the first poster for the Russell Brand-led remake of 'Arthur.'


  • Kimberly Peirce ('Boys Don't Cry') is set to direct 'The Knife,' a drama about a real life South Central L.A. gang member who became an informant for the FBI.

  • DreamWorks is now on the receiving end of two separate lawsuits alledging that the studio stole the idea for 'Kung Fu Panda.' Previously, writer Terence Dunn had accused them of stealing a phone pitch he made to the studio and now artist Jayme Gordon says the studio actually copied the title and characters from his 'Kung Fu Panda Power' series.

  • Mary Elizabeth Winstead will join Benjamin Walker, Anthony Mackie and Dominic Cooper in the Timur Bekmambetov-directed 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' as honest Abe's wife, Mary Todd.

  • Scoot McNairy ('Monsters') and Ben Mendelsohn ('Animal Kingdom') have been cast in Andrew Dominik's 'Cogan's Trade.' Variety also mentions that McNairy is being considered as the love interest in Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus.'
