Are you a purist who loathes the words "remake" and "reboot"? Did the thought of Russell Brand taking over for Dudley Moore and bringing us a new 'Arthur' make you cringe? Even if Helen Mirren was co-starring? Along with Greta Gerwig, Luis Guzman, Jennifer Garner and Nick Nolte?

Set partially to the awesome tune that is David Bowie and Queen's "Under Pressure" (how many trailers have used this song again? Like a billion?) the trailer for 'Arthur' has hit, and if it doesn't make you at least smile, you might just be a little dead inside. A project that once seemed a bit pointless has bred one heck of a great trailer that you can check out after the jump.

If a rich Russell Brand doesn't inspire you to make the leap, prepare for Mirren throwing a punch, Batman love and a re-definition of the french kiss.

We really shouldn't be surprised at the comedy above. This is coming by means of Peter Baynham, one of the scribes behind 'Borat.' This time, instead of dipping into international relations, he's thinking about horses and wondering: "Who makes that kind of commitment to a shoe?"

Did the trailer whet your comedic appetite? The film hits theaters on April 8.
