- Leonardo DiCaprio will produce and star in a new film about the assassination of JFK for Warner Bros. This new film, based on the book 'Legacy of Secrecy' that posits the mafia backed the assassination, will be out in 2013 just in time for the fifty-year anniversary of the President's murder. Deadline reports that an undisclosed, high profile director that DiCaprio has worked with in the past is interested in helming the project.

- The Coen Brothers-scripted remake of the 1966 film 'Gambit,' starring Michael Caine and Shirley MacLaine, has found financing thanks to a new production company, Crime Scene Pictures. Michael Hoffman ('The Last Station') will direct the film about a cat burglar's misguided plan to rob a billionaire.
