The trailer for 'Red Riding Hood' should be attached to all prints of 'Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows,' but if you can't wait until Friday to see it on the big screen for the first time, it's now available in a variety of HD flavors over at Apple. The fact that it's directed by original 'Twilight' helmer Catherine Hardwicke and that it involves a werewolf is enough to call attention to one of the biggest teen film franchises of all time, but even without knowledge of Hardwicke's attachment to the project, it's obvious after pressing play on the trailer who exactly Warner Bros. is hoping to covet with this film.

Amanda Seyfried stars in the period piece film as Valerie, a beautiful lass who has to decide between falling in love with a mysterious outsider (Shiloh Fernandez) or the young man who her parents are hoping she will marry (Max Irons). When Valerie's older sister is killed by the werewolf her village normally keeps at bay with animal sacrifices, a werewolf hunter (Gary Oldman) is called into town to take care of their problem. However, his revelation that any one of the townsfolk could be the lunar stalker causes Valerie to question whether the killer is actually one of the men she loves...

Check out the trailer embedded below and let us know what you think of Hardwicke's latest. It's pretty clear that she's opted to inject considerably more style into her supernatural romance this time around, so we're curious to know whether or not you think it's paid off.
