- Gawker picked up this photo of what John Cusack looks like as Edgar Allen Poe in James McTeigue's 'The Raven.' He actually fits the part, at least visually, quite nicely.

- Katherine Heigl has left 'Adaline,' a film that would have found her playing a car crash victim who is brought back to life by a lightning bolt only to discover that she has been "physiologically trapped in her late 20s." Who will replace her is unknown at this time, but Angela Lansbury is still expected to be playing the character's daughter. Yes, you read that correctly.

- The extremely brutal French horror film 'Martyrs' will be getting an American remake from 'The Last Exorcism' director Daniel Stamm. If that idea already sets you on edge, this quote from Stamm probably won't help any: "The American approach [that I'm looking at] would go through all that darkness but then give a glimmer of hope. You don't have to shoot yourself when it's over."

- 'Taken' director Pierre Morel had been recently linked to 'Ouija,' but he's now off of that and onto 'Earth Defense Force.' Yes, it's yet another alien invasion movie, but with Sam Raimi on board as a producer and a script about how Earth responds to a humiliating alien attack, hopefully this will stand out amongst the crowd.
