- Entertainment Weekly's latest issue has the first images of Amanda Seyfried in 'Red Riding Hood,' Catherine Hardwicke's film about a medieval village stalked by a werewolf. Check out one other image over at EW.

- It was mentioned weeks ago that Len Wiseman's 'Total Recall' reboot had a short list of desired actors, at the top of which was Colin Farrell. Now Variety is reporting that Sony has officially offered the role to Farrell and are currently negotiating the finer points of his contract.

- 'Underworld 4' has found a pair of new directors in the Swedish duo of Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein. Kate Beckinsale will rejoin the franchise (Rhona Mitra played the female lead in the third entry) as the werewolf-killing vampire Selene.

- Universal has decided to shelve the release of their 'The Thing' prequel to an undetermined date. Matthijs van Heijningen Jr's film had been gaining buzz from those who had visited the set or scene the trailer, but official studio word says it won't be ready in time so they will instead fill its original April 19, 2011 release with 'Fast Five,' the latest in the 'Fast and the Furious' franchise.

- The first 'Cowboys & Aliens' poster has been unveiled by Yahoo! Movies. It's simple, but effective. You'll also note that on Yahoo, they have a countdown to the trailer premiere, which will be at 12pm CST on 11/17.



- Commercial director Fredrik Bond is set to direct 'Year 12,' a sci-fi action film set a dozen years after aliens have enslaved mankind. The film is currently without a studio, but producer Joe Roth ('Alice in Wonderland') hopes to find it one soon.

- TMZ have learned of yet another big name cameo set for 'The Hangover 2': Bill Clinton.

- HeyUGuys has gotten their hands on this image and the 'Cars 2' official synopsis, which revolves around an international race to determine the world's fastest car.



- 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' also has a simple teaser poster out now. Feel free to speculate as to how this metal skull will come into play in the story.
