The cast for 'We Bought a Zoo' -- Cameron Crowe's first feature since the not-so-hot 'Elizabethtown' -- is quickly shaping up. Focusing on a father who moves his family to the English countryside to own and run a zoo, a number of big-league talent have expressed interest. After names like Amy Adams, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Rachel McAdams flirted with the possibility of living life amongst the animals, Scarlett Johansson won the gig, to star alongside Matt Damon and supporting actor Thomas Hayden Church.

And now Crowe is looking for a little reunion, heading back to the lead of his last truly beloved film, 'Almost Famous.' New reports reveal that Patrick Fugit has signed on for a part in the film, and Elle Fanning (lead of Sofia Coppola's upcoming 'Somewhere') is in talks for an additional role.

Deadline reports that Fugit's role is currently unknown, but Fanning will play Lily, a 13-year-old who works at the zoo's restaurant, and flirts with the new owner's (Damon) son (Colin Ford is looking to take the gig). Apparently she's some sort of orphan outside the law as Deadline describes Fanning's role as: "Too young to legally be working, she gets paid under the table and lives on the property. Her only parental figure is Kelly (Johansson), from whom Lily learns to be at ease with the animals."

It's not every day that you buy a farm and get an orphan as an added perk. Perhaps a fan of Benjamin Mee's novel can elaborate on how that works? And while we're at it, Crowe is notorious for infusing classic songs into each one of his films, so what tunes might he choose now? Guns 'n Roses' "Welcome to the Jungle"? A little Beach Boys fervor with "Pet Sounds"? "Crocodile Rock," "When Doves Cry" or "Fly Like an Eagle"?
